Creativity:
Some of the elements of creativity as one would put are (but not limited to)
having the capability to think beyond the content in the box, be innovative,
inventive or discover some sort of unique ideas. For sure all these just tells
only half of the tale.
However,
creativity normally takes a lot more than inspirations and of course it comes
with some cost. There should altogether be
different levels of creativity in schools ranging from a simple short story
from a learner to using technology in being creative. There should also be time
and need for creativity for instance one would wonder why should a doctor learn
another skill to do operations, yet it is the same patient, matter of fact, the
operation would always be done in similar way but during stitching when there
are some complications, the doctor will now have to be creative to discover his
own methods of dealing with such complications. This is creativity!
Constructivism
requires the children to learn effectively through interactions with various
experiences in their natural environmental setting. This philosophy works well
more specially by taking learning to be a process that depends on the prior
ideas the learner brings to the knowledge and that it is all about sharing and
negotiating a common understanding of a situation.
Piaget
also believed in the importance of children interaction and actual manipulation
as essential to the gaining of knowledge which would be termed as the
constructivism.
Accommodation
of Differences: individuals do not necessarily start on equal footing, equal treatment.
Different people have difference historic experiences to tell, the class room
requires space for taking care of individual differences of viewpoints, desires
and even learning styles. Taking care of individual differences ensures that
all the learners get an schooling that satisfies all their needs while developing
an understanding and patience in the entire school system. Teachers and parents
regularly tackle the accommodation of learners with problems as they attempt to
create decisions concerning the childrens’ training.
Therefore,
there is a relationship between creativity, constructivism and accommodation of
individuals in schools in that they all say similar things about the learner though
in yet another approach and one may lead to the other.
